Scouting Dossier
PFF
Proctor is a massive, powerful offensive line prospect with surprisingly good coordination and movement ability for his size. However, his lack of ideal foot speed and arm length for tackle likely makes him a strong candidate to move inside to guard
Strengths
● Enormous frame, with outstanding overall mass and body length
● Rare explosiveness for a player his size and density
● Enough lateral range to cut off wide speed rushers
● Controls defenders when he gets his hands on them
● Finished Alabama career making 18 consecutive starts without a holding penalty
● Adequate anchor and rarely gets inverted vs. power
● Flashes a nasty temperament and looks to finish
● Creates movement in run game; asset at the goal line
● Locates targets and launches them on short-pull plays
● Carried the ball five times for 16 yards in 2025, including an 11-yard gain
● Durable — started 40 games at left tackle past three seasons
Weaknesses
● Inconsistent landmarks and leverage as pass blocker
● Sets tall and hands have trouble finding surface area on rushers
● Timing is consistently off between his steps and punch, which invites long-arm moves into his chest
● Late to recognize spinners or any type of inside move
● Below-average efficiency on combination blocks
● Injured shoulder prior to 2024 season and missed first two games (Sept. 2024) before playing hurt for remainder of season;
underwent shoulder surgery after season ended
● Left tackle only in college (and high school); doesn’t have experience at guard or right tackle
Projection
A three-year starter at Alabama, Proctor played left tackle in offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb’s pass-leaning scheme (62 percent pass,
38 percent run). A consensus top-10 recruit out of high school, he saw the field immediately and showed gradual improvements each of
his three seasons in Tuscaloosa. He led all Alabama players in snaps played (985) in 2025 and earned both All-America honors and the
Jacobs Blocking Trophy as the top blocker in the SEC.
With his physical traits, Proctor flashes dominance when he plays on time. He has the size and movement skills to engulf defenders
when in rhythm as a pass blocker. However, he struggles to negotiate space and understand his leverage, which leads to erratic depth
points and oversets. It is a similar story in the run game — talent isn’t the issue. He plays heavy-handed and creates good extension, but

his body posture and cohesiveness are still developing. Overall, Proctor is big, strong and explosive, which is an exciting
foundation for an offensive lineman, but that optimism should be curbed until his discipline and technique catch up.
He has starting-caliber upside at left tackle, although some teams believe moving to guard would be best for his pro
career.

Freak Notes
- Feldman-Freaks-2025 · #2The biggest, by far, of Alabama’s three O-line Freaks, the 6-7, 366-pound Proctor’s body has 274 pounds of lean muscle mass with 26 percent body fat. His strength numbers are awesome. This summer, he squatted 815 pounds, benched 535 and power cleaned 405. Advertisement Honestly, I was even more blown away when I found out he vertical jumped 32 inches and broad jumped 9-3. He’s 366 pounds! That 32-inch vertical is as much or more than five of the wideouts who were at this year’s combine. It’s the same as Colorado’s LaJohntay Wester, and he weighed 203 pounds less. In his first season at Alabama, Proctor started at left tackle and was selected to the All-SEC Freshman Team by the conference coaches. He had his highest-graded performance of the season against Georgia and its top-ranked defense. Last year against Georgia, Proctor earned a 90 percent grade with five knockdown blocks as the Tide didn’t allow a sack all night, per Pro Football Focus. Against South Carolina’s ferocious D-line, Proctor did not allow a sack, pressure or quarterback hit in 63 snaps and posted five knockdowns.
