Scouting Dossier
PFF
Bisontis posted a 62.4 PFF grade in 2025 across a career-high 795 snaps after earning marks of 55.2 in 2023 and 70.2 in 2024. He ranked in the 56th percentile in run-blocking grade on zone runs, 23rd percentile on gap runs and 59th percentile in pass-blocking grade on true pass sets.
Strengths
● Even-cut, sturdy frame, with developed body thickness
● Quick-footed laterally to kick out defenders or seal the backside
● Defenders pucker when they see him barreling down the tracks on outside pulls
● Urgent, smooth mover and swings his hips to wall off lanes
● Above-average raw strength to bully and batter defenders at contact
● Uses strong inside punch and mean streak to displace on base blocks
● Nice work using independent hands and transitioning to inside clobber hands (Bisontis: “Quenton Nelson was my idol growing
up.”)
● Works hard to catch contact and lose slowly as a pass blocker
● Blue-collar mentality; dedicated to the weight room and had a 705-pound squat (longtime strength and conditioning coach Tommy
Moffitt calls him the “strongest collegiate football player I have ever coached.”)
● One of just six combine prospects (out of 319) that competed in every drill
● Outstanding starting experience for his age
Weaknesses
● Short-armed and barrel-chested
● Caught lunging when overcompensating for lack of length
● Gives ground when he exposes his chest or allows length to attack his edges (see 2025 Miami tape)
● Jolts at contact but needs to be more consistent with leverage to drive his man away from the ball
● Penalized 19 times in his career, including eight flags in 2025 (four false starts, three holds, one unsportsmanlike conduct)
● Missed three games as a sophomore with left ankle injury (Oct. 2024)
Projection
A three-year starter at Texas A&M, Bisontis lined up at left guard in former offensive coordinator Collin Klein’s balanced scheme. He
expected to play guard after he enrolled but started at right tackle in 2023 because of injuries on the depth chart and earned Freshman
All-America honors. He added 15 pounds and moved to guard for his final two seasons, becoming an All-SEC blocker in 2025.
Bisontis brought his blue-collar New Jersey work ethic to Texas and developed into a well-rounded blocker. In the run game, he is
strong as an ox to torque defenders on down blocks and shows the efficient movements to seal the backside or pick off defenders as a
puller. On the other hand, he has a tough time keeping long-armed defenders off his edges, which leads to losses. He does a nice job
staying balanced as a pass blocker to absorb and cover up rushers. Overall, Bisontis is a burly, sawed-off blocker with the body
quickness and core strength to get the upper-hand in all phases. He projects as an eventual NFL starter and has traits
that will speak to both zone and power schemes.
