All-Star Game Performance

  • Senior Bowl 2026
    www.espn.com
Clark started the week with an early Day 3 grade on my board and is part of a deep safety class, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him rise into the third round due to his coverage chops and experience. -- Miller Dametrious Crownover, OT, Texas A&M The big offensive tackle was really surprising this week in terms of his overall consistency.

Scouting Dossier

PFF
Strengths
● Massive dude with “go, go, Gadget” arms and well-distributed bulk in upper and lower halves ● Wingspan helps him cover large surface area ● Can see tight end background in his initial movements ● Creates movement in zone-read game to wash defenders down and clear run lanes ● Has shown enough range to cut off defenders on backside ● Strains once engaged to put defenders where he wants ● Improved awareness in pass pro — did a better job anticipating moves and games ● Reserved by nature but a “dependable worker” and “selfless teammate” ● Durable — didn’t miss a game past two seasons
Weaknesses
● Plays too upright and has foundational cracks in anchor ● Marginal step timing and contact balance vs. pass rushers who know what they’re doing ● Struggles to redirect show against inside counters and out in space ● Penalized 11 times in 2025, including four holding flags ● Inconsistent feel on combo blocks ● Had trouble with crowd noise (five of seven false starts in 2025 came on road) ● Unproven at left tackle (96.1 percent of career snaps came at right tackle)
Projection
A two-year starter at Texas A&M, Crownover lined up at right tackle in former offensive coordinator Collin Klein’s balanced scheme. A tight end when he arrived in College Station, he made the transition to offensive tackle in 2022 and became a full-time starter over his junior and senior seasons, starting the final 27 games of his Aggies’ career. With his large frame and humongous wingspan, Crownover looks the part of an NFL tackle and has adequate movement ability and strength. He displays twitch out of his stance to get into position in pass pro or drive defenders from their spot as a run blocker, specializing on inside zone. However, his upright hips and erratic hands quickly cause problems, and his recovery skills aren’t yet on an NFL level. Overall, Crownover is still raw in several areas and too easily loses his rhythm versus skilled defenders, but his size, length and functional talent are worth cultivating. He is a developmental prospect capable of making an impact down the road.
