Scouting Dossier

PFF
Everette earned a 69.7 PFF grade across 751 snaps in 2025, highlighted by a 90.1 run-defense grade. In coverage, he allowed 38 receptions on 68 targets for 440 yards and three touchdowns. He recorded one interception and seven pass breakups on the year.
Strengths
● Broad-shouldered frame, with good height and length ● Rangy player who has NFL-level speed ● Light feet to get into phase; decent mirroring skills 530 Back to table of contents -- 534 of 629 -- ● Looks to use his long arms early to establish route leverage ● Adequate route recognition from zone ● Run defense took a jump between his junior and senior seasons ● Steady tackler — his size helps him ground ball carriers ● Described as “mature” and “consistent” behind the scenes (NFL scout: “Leader of the DB room … carries himself like a future coach.”) ● Stays on the field — started 41 games over past three seasons
Weaknesses
● High cut with average read-react twitch ● Inconsistent footwork in pedal-and-redirect mechanics ● Route runners that specialize in tempo can get him off balance ● Can get fooled by double moves and has messy recovery skills ● Guilty of not-so-subtle grabs to slow receivers (three holding flags, one pass interference in 2025) ● Impatient feet and hands in press in attempts to win early ● Offseason sports hernia surgery (January 2025); missed 2025 season opener because of ankle sprain
Projection
A three-year starter at Georgia, Everette was the right outside cornerback in defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann’s scheme. A former five-star recruit, he never reached true “playmaker” status in Athens, but he gave the Bulldogs’ defense quality cornerback reps, earning All-SEC honors as a junior and senior. A good-looking athlete, Everette has several traits that NFL teams look for at the position. Although his timed speed doesn’t always show up on tape, he plays fast enough and has the foot quickness and physicality to leverage routes in man-to-man or zone. His trigger is a little too conservative, but he finds ways to impact catch windows. Overall, Everette has the length, toughness and movement ability to post up on the outside, although his staying power will depend on his ability to play with better control. He can give an NFL team immediate depth and be a player who pushes the starters.
