Scouting Dossier
PFF
Strengths
● Functional size and bulk, with large hands and quality length
● Good-looking athlete who bursts out of stance (“Freaks List” alum)
● Ease of movement stands out when operating in space
● Adequate recovery against edge speed racing to the corner
● Has core strength to absorb and fight back vs. power
● Quick into run fits to in pin/seal, when he uses proper posture
● Improved awareness and timing against games and overload pressures
● Named a 2025 team captain (NFL scout: “Still learning how to be a leader but found more of a voice this past year.”)
● Has experience at both left and right tackle
Weaknesses
● Still learning how to maximize his length
● Undisciplined hands, in terms of rhythm and strike accuracy
● Lacks force behind his punch and ends up leaning on defenders
● Tends to overset, inviting rushers to attack vulnerable inside shoulder
● Drifts with his feet and elevates his pads, creating leverage issues
● Doesn’t have power to easily move bodies against their will
● Might be best moving inside, but lacks college tape at guard
● Battled hip flexor as redshirt junior (Sept. 2025) and missed three games in final season

A two-year starter at Boston College, Bowry lined up at left tackle in head coach Bill O’Brien’s pro-style, balanced offense. Having
banked minimal offensive line experience before arriving in Chestnut Hill, he made positive strides as the Eagles’ starting left tackle the
past two seasons.
At his size, Bowry has athletic tools that grab your attention. He is quick to square up defenders in pass protection, although his balance
breaks down mid-slide when he is jolted off the balls of his feet. Right now, there is too much guesswork with his hand strikes — that
tardiness allows rushers to cross his face unimpeded or pry him open with length. He isn’t a mauler in the run game, but he fits up
defenders on pulls, counters and climbs. Overall, Bowry is still raw in key areas of playing tackle against skilled pass
rushers, but he is a twitchy big man with length and core strength worth developing. A move inside to guard might be
in his best interest long-term.

Freak Notes
- Feldman-Freaks-2025 · #98The Eagles always seem to have a few excellent O-linemen that the NFL will like, and the 6-5, 311-pound junior left tackle fits that mold. In 2024, Bowry allowed only two sacks in 321 dropback snaps. Bowry’s athleticism has really impressed the staff; he achieved a peak velocity of 1.18 meters per second and a peak power of 2,610 watts while performing multiple sets of five reps on back squats with 435 pounds.
