Scouting Dossier

PFF
Strengths
● Broad through shoulders and torso, with defined upper-body build and quads ● Former hooper with natural athleticism, speed and body fluidity ● Plays with functional range to mirror, play ahead of blocks and get outside the numbers ● First step is always the right one; displays a feel for fitting the run and playing to help ● Love the competitive fire he shows on every snap ● Plays with a low center and active hands to bounce off blocks ● Made positive strides as middle-zone coverage dropper ● Productive blitzer from depth and easily shakes backs in pass pro (see his sack vs. Miami in the title game) ● Played on punt coverages all four seasons ● Voted a team captain in 2025 (NFL scout: “The coaches call him an ‘alpha’ and (the) best leader on the team.”) ● Outstanding production as a starter
Weaknesses
● Shorter than ideal with a boxy frame and near-maxed-out build ● Overaggressive when driving on the ball, making tackle attempts tougher ● Mediocre arm length with limited room for recovery as a tackler ● Won’t be as easy for him to square off against size and power of climbing NFL blockers ● Can get frantic attempting to pattern match in man coverage ● Missed one game as a senior and parts of others with left knee injury (Oct. 2025)
Projection
A two-year starter at Indiana (and three-year starter overall), Fisher was the Mike linebacker in defensive coordinator Bryant Haines’ 4-2-5 base (wore the green dot). After leading James Madison in tackles in 2023, he followed Curt Cignetti to Bloomington and became the first Hoosiers linebacker to become an All-American (in 2024 and 2025). He combined for 215 tackles in two seasons at Indiana and was the unquestioned leader of the Hoosiers’ national title-winning defense. Fisher will be a well-liked prospect by evaluators and coaches who appreciate linebackers that play with their hair on fire. He plays fast, alert and physical to make an impact both between the tackles and outside the numbers. He embraces the dirty work and is at his best swarming downhill, although his overaggressive nature will lead to misses. Overall, Fisher looks small at times on film, but he is equal parts athletic and tough, and his play personality should make him an easy sell in a war room. He projects as a low-end NFL starter, similar to Drue Tranquill.
