A one-year starter at Oregon (and two-year starter overall), Harkey manned the right tackle spot in former offensive coordinator Will Stein’s balanced scheme. He played at four different programs over six college seasons, and he showed steady progress after not playing offensive line until 2021 in junior college. He has serviceable size and athleticism, with the quickness that shows in both the run and pass games. His anchor and sustain skills are works in progress, but he is tireless with his hands and responds well to challenges. Overall, Harkey is a nimble mover with adequate play strength and a tenacious play personality, which should serve him well for a move inside. He has the tools to fight for a roster spot at guard and continue developing with NFL coaching.
