A one-and-a-half-year starter at Georgia, Morris played left guard in offensive coordinator Mike Bobo’s balanced gap/zone scheme. The last remaining signee from Kirby Smart’s 2021 recruiting class, he has come a long way from being a 17-year-old on the scout team facing Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter. After struggling to move up the depth chart as an underclassman, he was a solid spot starter for an injured Tate Ratledge in 2024 and became the only Georgia lineman to start every game in 2025. Replacing Dylan Fairchild at left guard was never going to be easy, but Morris didn’t shrink with an increased role in his final season. As a pass blocker, he can anchor down in confined spaces and make it hard to get around him. In the run game, he wants to be a road grader and create push with his length and power, although he lacks ideal range and consistency for some schemes. Overall, Morris has his limitations, especially because of his upright posture, but is at his best when allowed to play to his strengths in a gap scheme (mauler in run game, patient in pass pro). NFL teams are split on his upside. Is he scratching the surface or is this just who he is?
