Projection
Jalen Stroman grew up in Bristow, Va., with his parents (Greg Sr. and Priscilla). His older brother (Greg) played cornerback at Virginia
Tech and was a seventh-round pick (No. 241) in the 2018 NFL Draft; he has played for five NFL teams.

Jalen was a three-year starter at safety and wide receiver at Patriot High School. A three-star recruit, he considered offers from Duke,
Syracuse and others but followed his brother’s footsteps and signed with Virginia Tech. Scouts were expecting 2024 to be his breakout
season, but he missed the year after injuring his right shoulder. After transferring to Notre Dame for his final season, he lost his starting
job three games into 2025 but rejoined the starting lineup for the season’s final two games. He made his first career interception against
Syracuse.
Stroman is an adequate size/speed athlete, with functional underneath range. He is aggressive when fitting in the run game, although
his tackling batting average drops in space. His medical history (right shoulder issues) could affect his final grade. Overall, Stroman
has below-average on-ball production and projects best in the box because of his urgent demeanor to read run or
pass and hustle to the play.
