All-Star Game Performance
- East-West Shrine 2026atozsports.comOregon's Jaden Canady, NC State's Devon Marshall, Toledo's Avery Smith, Nebraska's Ceyair Wright, and Cal's Brent Austin dominated practices all week long, and this group looked like the best players here at practice. Also, fun fact: Ceyair Wright played Lebron James's son in Space Jam 2.

Projection
Ceyair (cee-AIR) Wright grew up in Los Angeles with his parents (Claudius Wright and Chanell Jackson). His father played cornerback
at Arizona (1993-94), followed by three seasons in NFL Europe. His uncle (Mazio Royster) was a running back at USC before a four-year
NFL career. Two of his cousins (running back Darick Holmes, 1995-99; cornerback Darnay Holmes, 2020-25) played in the NFL.
Ceyair Wright started modeling and acting at age 4 and first made an appearance in a music video. He continued acting over the years,
including roles in “Space Jam: A New Legacy” (as LeBron James’ son) and several television shows. He was also a standout football
player growing up and continued at Loyola High School, a private Catholic school in Los Angeles. He played both ways at wide receiver
and cornerback and earned first-team all-state honors as a senior. He also played baseball and ran track with a personal best of 10.84
seconds in the 100-meter dash.
A 4-star recruit, he stayed home and signed with the Trojans before transferring to Nebraska to finish his career. He hasn’t given up
acting, but he’s made it clear that football is his priority.
After playing primarily outside in 2024, Wright moved to the nickel for his final season with the Huskers. He lacks ideal height and
build, and NFL scouts say he has struggled adding weight. He is a fluid athlete with excellent speed for the position. His footwork and
fundamentals are inconsistent, but he can connect himself to routes in man and drive on throws from zone — his coverage awareness
has improved each season. As a run defender, his angles and leverage are erratic, and his tackling is unreliable, because of his marginal
technique and finishing strength (this also shows on special teams coverages). Overall, Wright has more volatility (in all phases)
than is ideal in his game, but his speed and coverage instincts are appealing enough to warrant draft consideration.
