Scouting Dossier

PFF
Strengths
● Square-framed with broad shoulders and adequate upper-body mass ● Uses positional awareness and adequate footwork to frame up blocking angles ● Solid base; relies on core strength to put down roots after giving up initial ground ● Can mix up sets and use spacing to his advantage ● Firm outside hand to force rushers to play on his terms ● Outstanding finisher in run game, especially out in space ● Effort on and off the field is unfailing (NFL scout: “Doesn’t need (to be) pushed, already gives the max.”) ● Voted a senior captain and was beloved at UCLA as a vocal leader and true “program” guy ● Durable and experienced — made multiple college starts at three different positions
Weaknesses
● Upright blocking style with slight tightness in tapered lower half ● Lateral range and arm length are average at best (slowest 10-yard split at NFL combine) ● Moments of stiffness show when he attempts quick redirects ● Pad-level issues lead to run-game stalemates and pass-blocking walkbacks ● Advances to second level but gets a tad clunky in space ● Flagged for 41 penalties during his college career, including nine as a senior (seven false starts, two holds) ● Hurt his back (Nov. 2025) and was sidelined for Ohio State game his senior year; missed 2024 season opener because of an ankle injury (Aug. 2024) 295 Back to table of contents -- 299 of 629 --
Projection
A four-year starter at UCLA, DiGiorgio was a fixture at right tackle before moving to right guard as a senior in interim offensive coordinator Jerry Neuheisel’s pass-heavy scheme. His 49 starts are the second most in UCLA history (behind Jake Brendel’s 52). He also has experience at both tackle spots, although his most consistent tape came over the final eight games of the 2025 season, when he kicked inside to right guard. With his bullying finishing effort, DiGiorgio is a warrior who will spar with anyone in front of him. His feet and arm length are mediocre for a tackle, but solid for a guard. He is prone to letting defenders into his frame in both the run and pass game, which can leave him inverted and out-leveraged. He needs to cut down on the penalties, but NFL coaches will love his accountability and mental maturity. Overall, DiGiorgio has some limitations, especially at tackle, but his physical presence, functional strength and football awareness are appealing qualities for an NFL guard. His versatile experience would provide depth at multiple positions and boosts both his draft and roster value.
