Scouting Dossier

PFF
Projection
Damonic (DOM-in-ick) Williams, the middle of three boys, was born and raised in Torrance, Calif., by his mother (Cicily Freia), a two-time cancer survivor. Williams started playing football at age 4 and continued through little league, although he almost gave it up as a freshman in high school. As a sophomore, he transferred to Bishop Alemany High School, which required a 90-minute commute each way but helped him blossom as a football recruit. A three-star recruit, he initially committed to California before flipping to TCU on signing day. He earned a starting role as a true freshman and became the first 17-year-old in TCU history to record a sack. After two seasons in Fort Worth (including a national title game appearance in 2022), he transferred to Oklahoma for his junior and senior seasons. It is fitting that Williams’ first name is one letter away from spelling “demonic,” because that word accurately describes his play style. He was kept fresh by a constant rotation in Brent Venables’ defense (averaged just 31 defensive snaps per game in 2025), but he is naturally energetic and was known as a hard worker in the program (NFL scout: “Not sure if he’s trying to be a leader or not, but guys follow him.”). Though his get-off is average, Williams plays hard and fast with his hands to discard single blockers. He flashes balance and power as a pass rusher, although his block recognition needs continued maturation for him to unlock his talent. Overall, Williams has a short, compact build, but he is naturally strong, with long arms and adequate quickness to be disruptive in the run game. He projects as a rotational NFL interior lineman who should fit any scheme.
