Scouting Dossier

Projection
Henry Lutovsky (loo-TAUV-skee) grew up in the small town of Crawfordsville, Iowa (population: 277), with his parents (Ronald and Robin Lutovsky). He attended Mount Pleasant High School, where he played at both guard and tackle spots, twice earning all-state honors. A three-star recruit, he was courted by offers from Georgia, Missouri and Iowa State, but he was drawn to Nebraska after a visit and was one of the first commits in the Huskers’ 2021 class. He was part of an offensive line rotation in 2022 and 2023 before becoming a full-time starter (at both left and right guard) over his final two seasons. Lutovsky is a massive guy, with a long, filled-out frame and thickness in his chest and legs. He plays with an intense mentality to spring off the snap and slam into whatever is in front of him in the run game. He has the athleticism to expand his blocking range but is inconsistent adjusting to moving targets. In pass protection, he needs to be more consistent in combatting power but can slow down charged-up rushers when he stays on time with his hands. Sources in the program say he was a positive presence and someone the coaches used to relay messages to the rest of the team. Overall, Lutovsky needs to do a better job keeping his lower and upper halves on the same page, but he looks the part, with the aggressive streak and tools to compete for a reserve role.
